Proms are a segment that’s growing like crazy for us at The Met because more and more it seems like schools and PTAs are prioritizing the safety of their students in the choice of prom venues. Not that other venues are unsafe, but being in Alpharetta and having virtually unlimited onsite parking, the event is very much contained to the premises.

And given that, there isn’t a lot of competition that can provide what we do for proms. Of course we do the basics (desserts, soda bar, ice cream sundae bar if requested, food for chaparones, strong floorplans, etc), but there aren’t a lot of spaces that can comfortable accommodate up to 1200. Our venue, with its ourdoor area can. And if it rains, we are licensed to have up to 850 guests indoors.

We don’t charge too high for proms. We’re very affordable because we want to be the venue you can trust and feel good about sending your kids to. And genuinely, as operators, there’s nothing we love seeing more than the space filled up. The energy is always so rewarding.
