Nonprofit Fundraisers and Galas (at the Met)

The work we do for nonprofits is without a doubt some of the most rewarding work we do.

We don’t look at nonprofits as clients. They are partners. Genuinely, we don’t charge as much to host their galas and fundraisers, and this is from a moral standpoint. We at the club are so blessed, and we believe it’s our job to support people that are devoted to improving the community and world around us. Because of that, we get incredibly invested in the success of these events, and we go above and beyond for our nonprofit clients.

In terms of how they are executed, the main thing is that nonprofits require way more flexibility and more specific and complex floorplans than normal clients. For almost every client, you can’t bring in your own alcohol. But for nonprofits, sometimes there’s a sponsor providing 30 cases of wine and 20 bottles of Grey Goose Vodka. The objective truth is that that is a good thing, and it’s our job to accommodate that and work that into how we service beverage that night. One of the nonprofits we work with, GA Trustees, supports the growth of Georgia’s agriculture business, and for their event, they receive tons of food donations (in ingredients) from all their partners. We create a menu based off all these donations, cook, prepare, and serve it. There is not a single event hall in Georgia that would do that.

Our point, no matter what your mission is, we believe in it. We believe in the need for providing beyond yourself, and we’ll always be proud to support organizations and individuals who are doing just that.
